As a young kindergartener my mom noticed my love and talent for the arts. I'm so grateful that she recognized my passion early on and enrolled me in after school art classes to continue my education.
I loved working with different artists over the years and it really shaped me into the artist that I am today.
If you have a "budding artist" between the ages of 8-18 and are interested in enrolling them in a fine art class I would love to help encourage, inspire and give them the tools to create artwork that they love!
In both my watercolor and oil classes, each student has the opportunity to create a painting of his or her choice. I allow the students to choose subject matter that excites them! I've found that students love having the freedom to create something that reflects who they are and what they love.
My classes vary from beginner to more advanced, I work one-on-one with each student through every step of their painting. We start with the basic fundamentals of drawing and then step by step painting. I try not to every touch a students work as I want them to be proud to say "I did it all myself!"
